I wanted to revisit the on the move topic again.

I'm super happy we had some nice video's of shows.

My girly Dita is going to heaven
Last Saturday she was behaving weird and that was the start of multiple seizures, we tried and tried but nothing helped, so we had to lett her go
Dita had a super beautiful live, we had so many beautiful adventures, we went to Crufts, we went to multiple world shows. She was my first dog to win a match, to win a specialty
We where always working together
Doing games and pulling the scooter (I know totally against regulations in the Netherlands)
Last year she got her leg injured and she needed a brace, but afterwards we where really active with fitness games, she loved it so much.
The last few days where so terrible she did not deserve that
So now she rests until we meet again

Happy Easter

A happy easter from Glamourace Collies!!!!
This week a few of these hearts where placed in and around the area where we live.
So we liked to get a simple picture with our dogs posing with one of those hearts.

Dita retired from the dogshow ring

Finally I can post this,

Dita is retired from the showring, but not in a way we would hope. Before dogshow Antwerpen she stepped into something, and I don't know how, but she tore a tendon in her left front paw, causing her a permanent limp.

Ofcourse we are very sad about it, because Dita loved being with me in the show ring. But luckily arangements are being made, and we are going to see a specialist in making braces. This process takes a while so there is only 1 thing for us left to do, and that is waiting.
We ofcourse will update on Dita's journey, because she will be having a rehab period when her brace gets on her leg, she is currently in compulsory rest and that is hard, for her and for us. (Altough she scares the living daylight out of the chickens every single day)
She is amazingly cudly, mainly because that is the only thing she can do at the moment.

We will keep updates on Dita, and ofcourse at our place she is still being spoiled............

 

Dita Benelux Veteran Winner

We where very busy campaigning Emmy for the competition "mooiste hond van Nederland" so I didn't do an update on the website.
But in the first weekend of march we went to the Benelux Winner show in Groningen and we did super.

I entered Vivien after a long absence from the showring and she did very well by getting excellent 2 in openclass.
Dita was again in Veteranclass and she nailed it, excellent 1 and again a veteran Best of Breed.
And the titel Benelux Veteran Winner to go next to her name!!!!

Thanks Judge mr Jan Ebels to make this possible, i'm proud of my kids.

And I must not forget Emmy, she got the second place in the competition in my region.
So the campaingning was not all for nothing.

Dita wins on Christmas show

Yesterday december 22 we went to Venray for the Christmas show. We entered Lucky, Star and Dita and we did great again.
Lucky got excellent 2, Star excellent 1 and Dita topped it of, with excellent 1 CAC best Veteran and Best of Breed, we are so proud she did it, with her age of 9 years she just beat all the youngsters.

Dita moved super in the breedring, but even after the veteran ring she did not get tired a bit after going in the mainring again for the groups.
Our Judge was mr Dick Rutten and we are very happy with our results.

See you all next year in the rings again

Lucky BOB in Neckarsulm

Last Sunday we went to Germany, Neckarsulm this time to show at a britisch sheepdog special show.

Dita, Star and Lucky where entered.
We did again a great job with Star getting Exl 1 CAC/VDH
Dita placed 1 (veterans don't get graded excl or vg) veteran point and BOS
And again Lucky was the lucky one he gained Exl 1 CAC/VDH and BOB!!!!!!

Judge was ms Edy Dykstra-Blum (USA)

It was a lovely day with nice conversation we had load of fun.
This was probably the last show this year in Germany, we now take a short showbreak, to lett the dogs get into full coat again.

Benelux Winner show and World dog show for team Glamourace Collies

I know the World Winner Dogshow Amsterdam is already 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to wait with my post until I was able to buy the pictures I wanted to share.
Two pictures are made by a photographer who I'm not able to contact, so If you read this, contact me, and I will pay for the pictures right away

Now over to the show.
The theme of the World Winner show was, Show the World your Talent.
And we showed them!!!
The judges on all 3 days where looking for a different type then what we have so no big points and titles.
But we are super glad to say that our Dita gained her 14th!!!! Title, she became Benelux Veteran Winner, and we are very proud on that achievement. She also beat the male to become Best Veteran of the Breed also.

Our beautifull blue Dream Team was entered in Braceclass on both World dog show and Benelux Winner show.
On the Benelux Winner show where 62 braces present in the mainring and Judge ms Anita Giellisse picked them out to be 4th Best Brace in Show!!!!!!
This was something so amazing, I never saw so many braces in one big ring.
We had so much fun as we where in prejudging ring for almost more than 2 hours, I shared supernice conversation and Star and Lucky where so happy and relaxed.
I'm absolutely so proud they where so sweet while they had to wait in a crowded area before entering the big ring and then shine like they never did before.

Those big shows are so nice for making new friends and talking to long time friends from far away
I was super happy with all the nice comments and big encouragement from  around the rings about my team.

Again super show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday at the Meierijshow in Den Bosch we had a blast!!!!

It was bloody bloody hot, so the show organizers took care of it to maintain the area as cool as possible, super cool swimming pools outside,  and the mainring program was a bit altered all in the benefit of the well fare of our furkids.

Our pack did great and they actually did not notice the heat alot.

Our Judge was Mr Johan Wulteputte and he rewarded Lucky with excl 1 CAC/CACIB BOS, his sister Star did even better by getting Excl 1 CAC/CACIB BOB!!!!
Grand old lady Dita did an amazing job she went on Excl 1 best veteran of the breed and later in the mainring she became best in show Veteran place 3!!!!
The mainring was judged by mr A jacques.

We are so proud of team Glamourace Collies, they did wonderfull.

Whenever I get the change at dogshow I try to make it to Karl Donvil's mobile photostudio,
In Liège Belgium Dita did win best veteran of the breed, so I took the advantage to go there.
I Always love how Karl manages to capture my love for the dogs.

In future I hope to go to his studio many more times!!!!

3rth Best Veteran in show for Dita

What a brilliant day at the international dogshow in Liège, my grand old lady Dita

"Witching Hour of Dawn Harbour NJK w'10 jw'10, NL, BE, INT, VDH, DCC, CfbH, NVK, w'17 vw'17"

gained Excl. 1 veteran CAC and became best Veteran of the breed. Later in the mainring she became 3rd best veteran in show.
Thanks to breedjudge mr Róbert Kotlár and judge in the mainring ms Petra Junehall.
I'm really so happy with my results!!!

Long awaited update

Sorry for the long delay, we have been showing pretty well for the last few months, and we are happy to tell that in Offenburg Germany Dita got Best veteran of the Breed from mr Eberhardt.
In Groningen she has been awarded excellent 2 on both the Saturday and the Sunday show.

In Goes with the Easter show she went on Best Veteran of the Breed and Best of Breed by ms Cindy Kersemeijer, and a great reserve best Veteran in Show by Judge ms Gerda Schaufeli.

And then today on the int dogshow de Utrecht she became again Best Veteran of the Breed by ms Pamela Runderkamp, so she is now new Dutch Veteran champion!!!!

Also Anna went on a show in Goes and she made a brilliant Excellent 1 CAC/CACIB and Best of Breed by mr Tolson, and in Hazerswoude dorp ze showed Excellent 2 res-Cacib under Gerda Half

I'm absolutely planning on updating the website more often.


                           

First veteran point in Belgium for Dita

Last weekend in januari we went to Mouscron in Belgium, we did a very nice job with Lucky getting excellent 2 res-cac res-cacib
and Dita gaining excellent 1 veteran cac.
Judge was breedspecialist mr  Guy Devriendt from Belgium (Of Montegue Meadows)

Unfortunatly a bit late with a show update, but  what can I say first time in veteran class and she did it, my girl Dita multi Ch. Witching hour of dawn harbour gained excellent 1 CAC veteran CAC and Best of Breed  at the Amsterdam Winner show last weekend december 10.
Judge was mr Baranauskas Vytautas (LT) I'm so happy and exited
To win the breed from the Veteran class is a huge honour

We are proud to start Dita's veteran career in such a great way

Star Best in Specialty Show!!!!!

What an amazing weekend in Malsch Germany.
We had a specialty show for only rough and smooth collies and Star did it, Best in Show Specialty!!!!

The wheater was terribly hot, but we did it.

Lucky was Excellent 2 in championclass

Star was Excellent 1 in open tri class ( there where seperate classes for all colours, open sable, open tri for blue merles and tricolours, open white for colourheaded Whites and bright sable merles)
Then she became Europasiegerin by winning best bitch, then Best of Breed and afterwards BISS!!!!!

Emmy was Excellent 1 in championclass
Dita became Excellent 2 in honorary class (for dogs with an international title and a country title)
And Scarlett was Excellent 1 in veteran class!!!

Judge was ms Robette Johns (Rowbar Collies) a breedspecialist from the USA.
I'm extra proud that my girl proves now 2 times to become a clubwinner under breedspecialist judges and doing great under allrounders also!!!

This show is one to last long into my memorie.

Wat een geweldig weekend in Malsch Duitsland.

Het weer was extreem heet, maar we hebben het toch maar gedaan.

Lucky werd uitmuntend 2 in de kampioensklasse

Star werd uitmuntend 1 in open trico ( ze hadden speciale klassen voor de kleurslagen, dus open sable, open trico voor tricolours en blue merles, open white voor colourheaded Whites en lichte sable merles)
Ze werd Europasiegerin door Beste teef te worden, daarna Beste van het Ras en toen BISS!!

Emmy kreeg een 1u in de kampioensklasse
Dita een 2 u in de ereklasse (voor honden met een Int. titel en een landstitel)
En Scarlett werd uitmuntend 1 in de veteranenklasse.

De keurmeester was ms Robette Johns (Rowbar Collies) een rasspecialist uit de USA.
Ik ben extra trots op Star dat ze nu al 2 keer bewijst clubwinner te kunnen worden onder rasspecialisten, en ook onder allrounders.

Deze show zal ik nog lang over nadenken.
